Meyonka Kissoon | CEO
As a passionate dancer with a lifelong love for movement, Meyonka’ s love for dance never faded, despite early limitations from a strict father. She spent hours dancing in front of the mirror, rocking her Walkman, and briefly attended the National School of Dance in Guyana.
Fortune smiled upon Meyonka when she attended a high school where dance was mandatory, under the mentorship of the renowned teacher Beverley Spencer. Beverley guidance shaped and refined her craft, transforming her into a disciplined and dedicated artist. Meyonka earned a Grade One in the National Exam for Dance, even while injured, demonstrating resilience and unwavering commitment to the art.
Today, that childhood dream has become a lifelong reality. Meyonka is proud to lead her own dance company, sharing her passion and inspiring others through movement and expression.
